That's because you're ignorant to whatever the "haters" have to say. Also, I'm one of the few who ignores most of the stuff going on on this forum so your point is invalid.
Bronies started posting image spam of MLP in unrelated threads and that is why the ABO came into existence. I find this perfectly normal for the most part, seeing it really was annoying, although they took it too far and had "wars" with the bronies. Stocking also took all of it way too seriously, it was actually kind of funny. Overall, it was a pretty pathetic thing to do of both parties.
Do you like, actually understand how many people are annoyed with this? There's even people who are willing to leave this forum just because of this. People who have come here for years. I bet it won't be long before most of the cool people are gone and the forums turn into a gay pony fest.
That was stopped after ABO and various other threads came up, the brony topic I believe even has a bright red message under it stating not to do this.
no no it's because just like furries you idiots work so loving hard to be accepted on the internet for your fandom and hilariously enough manage to be almost as creepy. Just like furries, you've spewed all over the place to look for acceptance where everyone previously didn't give a forget, probably because you all felt consciously guilty that you're watching (and most likely loveualizing) a show intended for a completely different demographic, and to another extent seek out acceptance with others that feel the same way. This guilt of yours, much like furry's self guilt and desire to be accepted by others, is what seperates MLP and furries from most other less annoying fandoms.
Honestly if you kept to yourselves no one would be ridiculing you for being so pathetic. And ironically, your stupid cartoon isn't even phenominal, which rules that out as a legitimate reason to push it all over the internet.
Nobody was asking for acceptance, we are just defending our opinion, or answering to legitimate questions.
Pony fans who constantly counter argue with "You guys are intolerant butthurt forgets" and "This is Off-topic" have to realize that they are just adding fuel to the fire and are most likely are not going to win. Do you all still realize that people against MLP like Lord Tony and Miga are still going to have a distaste for it no matter what you do, and will freely and openly show some form of opposition to it as long as they abide by the forum rules? The fact that this is Offtopic and you can discuss pony stuff nearly as much as you want also means that people can easily speak against it as much as they want too. Just ignore them if you really feel hurt over their extreme dislike for your interests, I do this all of the time when it happens to me and my interests/tastes.
Building on to this, I also want to state that the more you show your interests/tastes such as MLP, the more opportunity you set yourself up for opposition (Avatars, out of pony topic posts containing it, etc.) and cramming it into dislikers throats (reuploading pony avatars to avoid adblock) only ensures that they will continue to dislike it. Just ask Strovbe about 90% of his comments on my facebook posts on certain things I like that he hates, I take the criticism and hate in easily and we are still friends despite that. Being in a mass group of people who have the same interests do not excuse personal overreaction to the hate and criticism.
I agree, and I have no problem with people hating the show.
So, we should all just shake hands and agree to keep the pony stuff in the pony thread and to not have people come in and stuff all over it because they don't like it
