Good computer, stuffty GPU.
Even a 4650 is going to have a little bit of trouble running Source games on high detail. The 4200 will be absolutely crap.
nope, my integrated graphics card doesn't lag on blockland. with a dedicated graphics with up to 3gb of video memory i should be good...all i really want this for is minecraft and video/music
Nonono.
GPU VRAM =/= performance.
It plays a factor, but nowhere near as important as how powerful the core is, etc.
e.g The difference between a 6550 and a 6970 (both 1GB models) would be that the 6970 would be approximately 6 times more powerful.
Also, it doesn't have 3GB. That's just what it can share with the system, but if you rely on that you're going to run into problems. The most it will have is 512MB on the chipset itself.

Look at the microstuttering and the severe FPS lag. That's unplayable and you'd get sick of it within 5 minutes. Anybody who says they are fine with that is kidding themselves. You have absolutely no response when your FPS is under 20. You might as well nod the direction you want to aim, it'd be better than trying to aim correctly with your mouse.

I may have to look at a different computer :/

I can suggest some, but I have to go out soon so I'll do it later.

If your mother owes you money I sincerely suggest you grit your teeth and play the game of patience rather than buy a crappier computer then spend money upgrading it. I decided to be patient and wait for money to come to me; for once I got the computer that I had set my heart to, I absolutely love it still and I'm glad I waited.

I'm not sure about the GPU. I don't know enough about Radeon Cards (Nvidia fan). My statistics website is saying it's not very powerful.

The processor is a few steps away from the Intel i5 Sandy Bridge 2500. I believe the computer is for multitasking.

I could be completely wrong.

I choked when I saw the other replies.

16GB of ram? 0_0

IT'S A MUST BUY!!!!!

16gb of RAM is overkill, you only need that if you work in the CAD industry or similar.

ive never seen a game use a whole 4, 3, 2gigs of memory even when forced.

i guess if you are in the habit of minimizing a game, to play a second; to go back and forth to like 4 games.
i mean that kind of hardware isnt for basic home use.

question. is the GTX 590 available to buy? newegg says you can opt to be notified. does that mean they just ran out, or they dont have it yet.

How much would this be if I built it....?

I finally decided I am going to get this one next month when i am paid. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229266
unless you guys give me a reason not to.

Its available to buy but its 700 dollars for it, and 750 for the Classified edition.
But $1400 for the dual pack with 2 cards.
