Xbox or PS3?

I got an 360 a year ago because

Most of my friends played it.
Games like L4D and TF2 which my computer couldn't run at the time.
It was cheap, as it was 100 dollars for a used one which I bought over a year ago and it still works fine.\

but I love my ps2 for days when internet is down <3

360 is the best.
PS3 is a very good alternative, but 360 is just better.
The aesthetics are better (comfortable controllers, better joystick layouts, loveier menu).
Honestly, the only things that are better about the PS3 is that:
- Has an internet browser (but it's a piece of steaming stuff, and that's what you have a computer for, durr)
- Blu-ray (okay this is a strong point, I admit, but you can still get a bluray player)

Also, the 360 is cheaper (yeah, because the internet costs money, but still, it's way less).

Lolno, you forgot that the 360 has Netflix.

The motion stuff, forgot about that.
The Move is a Wii remote with a ping pong ball on the end lol. It's not that great. The Wii has better sensitivity. I'm not saying the Move sucks, but it could be better.
The Kinect, however, is REALLY fun due to the fact that you don't need a controller - just your body. There are times when it doesn't pick your movements up as well as it should, but it's still very fun to play with.

By the way, you shouldn't get a console at all, for aforementioned reasons. PCs are the glorious gaming master race.

I have an xbox 360, and I know for a fact that I would much rather have a ps3.  The only reason I still have my xbox is for Gears 3.  Otherwise, I would have traded my xbox and all of its games to a friend for his old ps3.  Honestly, it annoys me that people compare the xbox to the ps3 because they are not designed to be on the same level at all.  A ps3 costs over $1000 to manufacture and is of better quality than the xbox in just about every way.  That isn't why I'm planning on getting rid of my xbox, though.   Paying a large amount of money for a live service that isnt nearly as good as a free service is just dumb.  At least xbox live isn't as horrible as the crap thing they came up with for PC games.  Windows games live ruined bioshock 2 multiplayer.

I don't know if you pccigarettes realize this, but not everyone has an unending amount of money to spend on a gaming pc.

I bought a laptop last year for over $1000 and I probably won't be able to play Skyrim.

The Xbox controlled are nice and sturdy while the ps3 controllers are easily more breakable. the xbox controllers however are rather much more difficult to operate since they have more buttons and are more larger. The brown townog sticks on the xbox are also strange.

It's true that the ps3 internet is not great but it's still internet and it still works. It has free internet so easy access to multiplayer, and like someone said earlier, if you've been paying for xbox internet for as long as it's been out you could've bot a ps3 already.

The ps3 has slightly advanced graphic cards. Xbox = 1.2 PS3 = 1.3

They're both equal but I still recommend the ps3 for more features.

The only thing I find better for the Ecksbawks is how the brown townog sticks are layed out. I've never really liked the Playstation layout of brown townog sticks.

The ps3 doesn't do the same which gives you plenty of room
