Author Topic: Not port fowarding  (Read 1143 times)

Ive been to many popular servers and asked ,"How does your server not crash when you have 30 people in your server?" Most of them say,"idk."

Does anyone know how to do this? I have a mac.

I have mac too. And I have same mac prob. Now to best answer I can give is, buy a PC, and/or buy a secondary router that connects to your "Mac" directly.

"TeeeHeee I have COOKIEZZZZZ"

why would a server crash just because you have 30 people? thats not much

The number of players and whether a server is crashing or not has nothing to do with port forwarding.

Ik but when i get to 10-15 players I dc

Could be one or more of the following:
-Bad add-on
-Lacking RAM
-Slow processor
-[VERY UNLIKELY] Malware
-One of the players is causing an issue with a bad add-on.
-Not even related to the number of players.

Good point on the "-One of the players is causing an issue with a bad add-on." because I caused crown's trench war server to crash everytime I used the assualt rife thing and he used mac

If you knew anything about routers you would realize that routers are for accomplishing the exact opposite of that.

I also, just directly connetced the router to my mac and opened all ports *Which is VERY dangeous* and it worked fine after that

No, dude seriously you should be quite about hings you don't know. Then again you could be right and I'm just a big, sore, loser. But we may never know which is correct.........

I've fixed your post. Because the only two things you should be connecting your computer to is a router or modem.

What about a power outlet?

port forwarding has nothing to do with whether you are using a pc or mac. as the port forwording isnt even done on the computer at all.
