Author Topic: Could I run crysis?  (Read 1243 times)

I have a AMD athlon Quad core at 3.2 Ghz and a Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT, with a asus motherboard.
Could I run it at max settings?

Probably.
You're leaving out a few details though, like RAM.

Oops, yeah I forgot that!
I have 8 gbs

I run it decently (around 20 FPS) at highish with a AMD Athlon 3800+ single core (2.4 GHz), a Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT and about 3GB of RAM.

If it weren't for your graphics card I would say you'd run it quite wellish.

Hey bisjac :)
Anyways, I think the processors would probably run it on max settings,no problem.
Also I build this one yesterday with a uncle of mine :P

Minecraft isn't hard to run :o

I actually found that the lb photo realism 256x256 HD decreases fps up to 70, odly enough.
I could run crysis better on low on my laptop than minecraft with lb photo realism on low.
I guess it uses 1 core and lots of ram as I heard, to run it fast

You can always download the demo to test it.

Actually I already bought it when it was on sale for 5 dollars, but I forgot to get crysis warhead at the same time :P

Run at Max settings with a decent frame rate? No!
