Author Topic: Duplicator Saver?  (Read 821 times)

Something like the marco saver but only you can save your dupes. I know this already came with the Duplicator but this should be different. Unlike the duplicator where you can only load dupes that you saved in that same server, is it possible to use a duplicator saver where you can load in all servers that have duplicator?

Check RTB in Client Sided mods... I'm sure there is a duplicates saver add-on there.
Here let me go Grab the link
NVM the rtb server is down today.

Type /savedup DUPNAME and /loaddup DUPNAME they are default functions that come with the add-on.
Oops didn't read the whole OP :C

This already comes with duplicator /savedup (name) and /loaddup (name) IF this doesnt work redownload duplicator

Wow, read the whole OP next time.

if this were made, it should have a brick limit on it, or more likely, a size limit

The duplicator is 100% server sided.  You do not get any of the information from the server about your duplication.  However, if you were to save the build you wish to dupe, then wait for BuildBot to come out, you can load them like a macro in any server you wanted.

No Offense, but i see no reason to have the BuildBot. From what i saw, it looks EXACTLY like Loading, but more complicated, and it takes too long. And plus, don't you have to have one of those Client Side Mods in that Server to where you can actually ACCESS the Console?
/confused

This can all be summed up with

Client Side Mods in that Server

As an expression of how you don't understand.

BuildBot is client sided, so it doesnt care about the server.  No server-sided mod or console access is needed.  It is not like regular loading.  Try going to some guys random server and loading some of your builds without admin.  It won't work very well.  Meanwhile, anyone with BuildBot can join any server and load any build, with admin or not.

Also, when you load normally you don't get to choose where it loads, as opposed to the duplicator-like precision of BuildBot.

If you want more clarification on BuildBot, just post in the BuildBot thread, instead of this one.

haha, buildbot, that's exactly what i've been thinking of, along a different set of lines
i was thinking of trying to convert a save into a macro, instead of save directly to build
not that i'd get very far on either...

DREN DRAN WHERE ARE YOU???!
