Hmm, thats pretty decent. Buckles the general trend of Apple usually being more pricey... a pity their other products couldn't be less costly lol.
Yeah, but its 30$ to put multi-touch gestures onto your mac.
That's basically it.
"Full-screen!"
"Search!"
"Photos!"
"App store!"

Nop.

I don't really like Macs, although the only trait I like about it is the fact that it's immune to most viruses.
The first Mac trojan was discovered just weeks ago, I am certain this will change quickly.

Its funny how whenever you mention Mac, many of the users here suddenly show their idiot side and start being morons about it and posting false inflammatory things about the system. Yet turn the table, and they'll gang rape people who make a derogatory comment about PCs.

Worst kind of idiot.
Maccigarette.  :cookieMonster:

Shut up man Windows rocks.
This.  Someone tell me what Mac can do that Windows can't.

Tom

The autosave feature actually looks pretty practical, and there are also lot's of security/performance updates.

Let the average person actually understand how to computer, but at a VERY heavy features cost.

Edit:

Wouldn't that take up a lot of HD space because it saves a copy every letter you make?

Ah stuff. :/

The first? I've heard of a few, fortunately Apple usually jumps onto it instantly and deals with it. What someone would have to do is make multiple viruses and release them around the web, then maybe you'd get a hold on OSX. Why would you want to when Windows is so much easier to exploit.

You kidding, Lion is a massive change to the GUI and the app store thing on OSX is huge. You should educate yourself on the proper features.

The first trojan, I mean. I read that it's more dangerous than others, because it isn't the typical scareware.

OH!

Also, Iv'e been hearing that it can use windows made applications without anything like wine.
True?

Macs can't run execute files, as I recall. Correct me if I am wrong.

Edit: asifdasu what's Wine?

If it is that will be my next computer.

1.Windows isn't easy to exploit, the users are.
2.Why would you even want with an app store anyway?  Mac's come with most of the things you'll need anyway (besides open office, but that's free.)

Linux and Mac have Wine, but it doesn't run everything.  Most F2P FPS games crash because of the anticheat and DirectX runs slower (and I don't think D3D even works at all!)

If it is that will be my next computer.
Read above.

Vice versa.

And actually I'm not a "maccigarette" I'm just a rare breed of person that owns both systems because I'm not stupid enough to take sides. I use my Mac for audio creation and editing, video editing, graphical editing, and animation because god knows on Windows all the programs for such are over-priced or just plain crap (or available for OSX).

As for my PC laptop which I'm on now, I usually use that for gaming, school work, Skype, and programming software and websites. That is because my graphics card on my Mac is regrettably poop.

mac knows they lost the home computer war horribly.

so they gotta go all-in on their toys instead. even bringing their toys to their home "computer"

Vice versa.

Sorry I called you a maccigarette, but I was joking.
