Overstrike is a new game coming out later this or next year. It's developed by insomniac games and is multiplatform (excluding PC :c) the game is supposed to be a co-op shooter.

The trailer feels like a movie and though there is humor it does not try too hard and the characters are very well developed.

Any thoughts?

Hm, this looks pretty fun.

I'm sad there's no gameplay teasers yet, but I have some money, I might look into this.

I loved Resistance and Ratchet and Clank, so I'm hoping it incorporates the arcade-shooter feel of RnC and the futuristic shooting elements of Resistance,

It would be great if it also had Left4Dead elements, like actually requiring you to use teamwork.

Yeah,but what I mean is you actually have an incentive to rely on your teammates and work with them instead of rush headlong into a wave of enemies.

In Left4Dead, you couldn't survive alone. Maybe if you were lucky, but you always would need your teammates.And that's what made it so great!
