No kidding, I've been here a year longer, and he has about 10 more topics than me. He has spent over 8 days online in just that time.

The game is pant-stufftingly amazing. If you're a fan of horror games this is the game for you.
Although, if you want twice the pant-stuffting, get Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Regardless of what game you get, they are both incredibly fun and have a nice story.

I was looking at Amnesia.

Penumbra seems better, But honestly its ending makes you want to smack the developers. (The third game, not the first or second.)

I say get it, i had hours of fun with the first two and the 3rd one i couldnt run, it was way too laggy and yeah it didnt work out :c

I couldn't really get into Penumbra: Overture but I bought the Black Plague gold edition on the sale and I beat both games, the physics puzzles were fun and creative and the creepy atmosphere was great. I say get Black Plague

If you enjoy Horror games that don't involve shooting and have puzzles, then yes get it! I played Penumbra Black Plague, it was fun but I never was motivated to complete it. For some reason I can't play a SP game for too long unless, someone is playing it with me such as watching my monitor as I play and helping along. Not because I'm scared, but I get bored.

I played Amnesia and loved it, but I never beat Penumbra because I would get bored :x
