So yeah I was playing DrenDrans server and when I said I didn't have the client and wouldn't get it, he permanently banned me for this reason

I never threatened you and what does it mean "with a lack of presence"?

So he joins my server, plays for a bit.
We don't interact at all, mostly because I'm afk.
Around the time I switched to trench tdm, someone askes me how to manually reload.
I explain that they need the add-on to do so.
I forget exactly how he got to this point, but OP says something like "I'm not downloading your client enhancement."
I tell him that at times he won't be allowed in then.
He basically says "go ahead, I dare you".
And I ban him for the reason: "Do not try to threaten me with a lack or presence."

He was not banned for anything relating to the add-on.
He was banned for unwarrented self importance.

Oh, and he started complaing in IRC.
I told him to drama me if he didn't like it, rather than spamming the chat.
He did.

He never said at times I won't be allowed in, he said "I will ban you." and I said do it. I never threatened him at all, I just refused to download his client. If I can join his server fine and play the game without any problems, why do I need to download his client? It's an unnecessary waste of space.

My origional plan was for this to be a project to spread new possible features all around blockland.

You obviously care if I download the add-on. You banned me. I never said I wouldn't come to the server if it was required, which it isn't. I'm pretty sure quite a few people on your server play without the client.

Plus, DrenDran normally has very high quality addons, so I don't see the issue there.

When you're downloading add-ons from other servers they don't go directly into Your Mods section.

Belogna, no matter how you look at it, you were definitely trying to start something.
Downloading a 2KB add-on isn't a problem, especially if you have RTB.
If you don't want to download it, then just leave. It's simple.
He didn't ban you because you refused to take the client, he banned you for his own reasons.
If you hate the idea of the client enhancement so much, then why did you make a drama?
Nothing good will come good out of this.
