Is this laptop good?

Acer = Toshiba. Toshiba usually lasts slightly logner and looks better. But, I have yet to see pix.

Looks =/= performance.
Acer is one of the best prebuilt brands around. If I had to get a prebuilt, it'd be HP/Compaq (same thing) or Acer.

I'm most likely going to get the Acer because it's better and cheaper, so I'm more likely to get it for my birthday.

HP & Acer are also pretty good for value, i'm pretty sure toshiba take a stuff or two on each PC, whenever it be setup stuff or stuff specs.
