Amnesia: The Dark Decent

So I just bout Amnesia, because I found the puzzles to be fun, and the demo wasnt to scary. I wasnt looking for a scary game, I was only looking for a new genre of game, and the whole "Horror Puzzle" Theme is pretty loving cool.

So after I beat the game ill probably do a review of it.

From the demo I really enjoyed it. Its not as scary as I thought it would be, but I like how it gets your heart pumping.

One thing i didnt like was your "Sanity" levels.
Idk what happens once you loose it, but it gets annoying when I can see fine, and im still loosing sanity.

Yeah, the only effect was that when they got too low you dropped to the floor and couldnt move for a seconds but that only happened maybe twice throughout the time I played and Im pretty sure they were scripted in. So pretty much it was just an annoying blur filter put over top of your game that served no purpose

Well, if thats the only downside to the game, then Ill be fine. :)

I remember on the demo, the water part, the second gate with the valve, I got it open by placing a box in the water in front of the valve. I then proceeded to sprint down to the door, only to find that you had to PULL it.

In the demo when I got to that part, i just threw a dead... human arm across the water and almost broke my mouse from spinning it so fast xP

This girl I met once irl was playing it and needed help. I had the idea to use MSN's Remote Assistance crap, and I got to play a little. Too bad everything was lagging and I couldn't see for stuff. So we switched to viewing mode and I watched her play a little. XD Was fun, and scary. :3 The Wikipedia article was better, though.

I decided to play as "Justine".
Well, theres this part in the beginning where you walk into a chamber, and this guys like "HELP ME!"
So i was like, "Ight."
So I pull this lever to the right of the door leading to his chamber.
Turns out, when I pulled it a giant "spear" came out of the roof and stabbed him.
