Yes, I have recreated the mod from scratch. Made a mod based off the idea of Mr. Wallet's "Rise of Blockland".
Much like with Salvage gamemode, I have taken an idea here and made a halfassed ripoff tribute to it.
It's in a "late public testing" stage, most of the features are there, and it's recognizable as a RoB server, but not everything is quite finished.
So I've put a password on it.
Come, join, due to the lack of players as we first start, I'll possibly give out free materials and a bit of money to help the first players.
Report any bugs on this thread.
And no, I do not currently plan on releaseing this.
Also, the origional created, the maker of the gui, and the person who made the idea, Mr. Wallet should be recognized here.
Lastly, this is for expirenced players to help test for bugs currently, so I won't be making a big explination of how to play here yet.

If I could have gotten permission, I might as well have asked for the mod.

This isn't sitting right with me. You can't rebuild it and then take its name and call it version 2.1. Whether or not you acknowledge Wallet, its still technically stolen without his permission.

However I would be grateful if you would change the name a little bit, first to allay any confusion about who is associated with what, and second because my efforts to get a job in the games industry include the fact that people can google the original name to confirm claims about my work and its popularity.

People enjoy "clones" all the time. It's how genres get invented. But creators swap out one word of the name or something to avoid lawsuits, because it's really not the same, no matter how similar it is.

I'm not going to make a big deal out of it because I can't stop you anyway without invoking Real Life Serious Business, which would be downright stupid. But if you truly respect the original work like you seem to do, I hope you'll grant me that one request.
