Guys. It's in. After looking at the IRC logs, I finally researched the 2 ips's he gave me.

1 was a regular server we chilled at for awhile.

The 2nd happens to be this, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/143380-johsminecraft-server-247-no-user-authentication-vps/

It's designed for fakes. BUT he did say right after that it was, "modded.

Now in suspicion, I am leaning towards that he is fake. Sev, IP's are not always right to be tracked :).

with this and the ear thing we did before, there is one way to proove his reality. We rip deadmau5's skin and go on that server above. What we do from them is name ourselves deadmau5, if we get the ears, he's fake, if we don't, he's real.

this will be the final way to proove it.

If tom and the others had met the real deadmau5, I'd imagine he'd just go on the forums and post a twitter update saying something like "this is proof, bl" since a simple account name can't prove it.
