ive seen one every now and then, but someone needs to put together a quality pack of them.

ambient sound tracks. you know the basic stuff;
water
rushing water
windy area
non descript crowd of people talking / town-like sfx
basic woodland forest sounds
rain forest

and whatever 30 more.

i say the pack must be of decent size, so it would be more of a common must have download, rather then have odd files people must dl on server join, or miss out on.

I could do this in an hour if I'm allowed to ~~borrow~~ steal sounds from other games.

I've made litteraly tons of these by using ambient sounds from HL2/Source, I could whip up a pack of 50+ or so medium-to-high quality 'music' loops.

I'll get to work tomorrow then. Altered, wanna work together on this? Compile our work into one once we got the sounds and remove duplicates?

I've made half assed ambiance using a super-pr0 combo of the 2d music player for loops and regualr music bricks, as well as actual .wav sounds on random relays for variety in, say, birds.

I'll go assemble the files.

Oh yeah. Some of the files are almost a minute long and pretty big in size. I think we need to cut the pack in smaller pieces. Making clients download 1GB of music is not cool at all.
