no one ever comes to my server, and when they do, it's only my admins and a few people, but that's only every few months or so, and sometimes, people come, but they just leave as soon as they come. it's very frustrating. i'm always alone at my server.

just a do whatever server, nothing too fancy...i make good builds once in awhile when nobody is around, but i never really finish anything.

people want a theme. doing whatever can be done alone on their own single player.

host an every evening town build or something.

Disable all of the weapons so idiots won't be spamming them all over the place and just leaving them lying around

i hate this game. some guy came to my server and they get lagged out by regenerating file manifest and leave.

Try hosting something original. Even if its not good, people will still come to check it out, and you'll end up with a pretty popular server

host a casino.

you can have guys who love interior detail building.
and you can have the guys who love to play with events, working on the games.

plus then there will be a good casino save for the community to use in their movies or whatever.
the ones i have seen sucked.

With months of experience I can say with certainty that homoloveual server names are sure to bring about more players in a hour than actual descriptive server names. I've been alone in my server for hours with a proper server name. Changing it something gay instantly brought 8 players within an hour.

I normally host mini-cities and the like whenever I play from time to time.  But everyone who joins always does something stupid like try to build a bridge onto my island where I specifically tell them that they have to build their own island unless I let them do so.
