Because it looks loving weird. If you look down in real life do you see feet or not? Are you some floaty pair of hands?

Maybe your character is always super fat and cant see his feet.

Maybe hes so fat that he cant even move his neck down enough to see his fatness, and so he doesnt even realize hes fat.

Then you would just see a blob of fat, this is not the case. There is literally nothing at all down there. You are nothing but two floating hands.

I can't remember if Halo 2 did it or not, but Halo Combat Evolved certainly didn't
They had legs in CE

I don't care about seeing feet in third person games, I just want to see feet in first person games.
