Author Topic: Blockland Android App? Would you buy it? Why or why not! (Also general info)  (Read 5385 times)

Sounds like a good idea, but I see no use for it. I almost always post from my Android phone, and it works perfectly fine.

I beg to differ.
The forum layout just doesn't feel right on a mobile phone, I always need to zoom. I don't like zooming.

Same here.

Managing your dedicated server would be AWESOME, I always thought that would be awesome.
The ability to chat in the server would be awesome too.

Absolutley good job only reading one of the ideas I had.
The forum part of the app isn't the only thing planed.

RTB v4 should also have an outside program to access chat I think.

I would still like more input on this.
Also, at the moment, more people have voted for the app rather than they don't have an android device.
Currently, 23 people have voted for the app. I have added a new option for people who wouldn't buy the application.
Lastly, right now options 1 + 2 are winning so if I were to make the app I would include a paid version and a free version.

How about a .cs editor for Blockland scripters?

I am strongly in support of this.

Might have been suggested, but maybe a brick maker?

Also, even though you say you dont need people for betatesting, I would still be interested.

This is possible, but I personally wouldn't know how to make syntax highlighting.

This is also possible, and would most likely be fairly simple to make, if my memory of how blb's work serves me right.
Also forget after a few days of using Swype on my phone for most of the day it has made typing on the keyboard difficult. Damn you, Swype!
... And the Android keyboard in general!

Viewing the Blockland website can already be done on the browser and editing a .cs is pointless because you can do it on the computer.  Only thing I think would be useful is managing the server from my phone.

Obviously you didn't read the posts.

Go be an idiot an idiot elsewhere.
Otherwise, read the entire thread and Bisjac's post and then think about what you just posted.
For forgets sake people, honestly. It's like you see the OP and read only one single loving idea I had, immediately skip to the newest page without reading the thread just to tell me something that has already been said.
READ THE THREAD.

Oh, woops. Second page.
Bump.

What would be the difference with the paid version vs. the free version? Would you have any monitoring tools over your server with the free version or only be able to view the player list? And of course go to the websites.
