Yes it might be overboard just a bit. But you can't just hate her for it. She only just wants to protect you.

My dad walked in when I was playing torture game 3. (its a flash game in which you torture a ragdoll with spikes, guns and stuff) It's a very gory game. My dad walked in and I looked at him and was like "Hey dad watch this!, and sawed the guys leg off. My dad was like "Alrighty then."
