So I'm going to be driving over to Texas to attend the Quake Con. I'll probably install Brink and Quake III arena on my laptop and play those games in the tournaments.

Is anyone else here going to Quake Con so that I may meet some of you?

Sure you can handle it?

Most people will beat your ass to the ground at Quake.
However, I am quite good at Brink. Not sure how skilled the competitors are.

Nearly everyone there is a hardcore Quake enthusiast, so prepare for a big challenge.

You are going to get drilled into the ground on quake.
Tell me what weapons, body type, and class you use on brink.

DUDE, I'M GOING TOO! I'm a quake pro, got every quake game from when they came out. Been playing them since I was 3. I know 98% of the secrets, moves, everything, quake is my life (and duke nukem, but they don't have a dukecon)

You're going to get brown townly fisted in the tournament. Also, you probably have to be either 16 or 18 to enter the tournament. It is an M game after all.

Quake LIVE isn't M. I dunno why he's playing Quake 3.

I am 16. They allow you to go as long as you have supervision from someone 18 or older (my brother).

body type: medium
Class: assualt
Weapons: either shotgun or a series of smg's available depending on the situation.

I'll type out my character prefs fo fun, migh help a bit too.

Faction: Security
Body type: Heavy
Primary Weapon: Maximus MG - Adjusted Ironsights
Secondary Weapon: Mossington Shotgun - D-Flex red dot sight
Favorite Class: Engineer
Perks: All Universal and Engineer perks

There's two things I don't really like about Brink. It's that most, or all of the weapons are overpowered, and the allied AI is handicapped.
Splash Damage are due to tune up and balance the weapons, I think.
