Author Topic: Headset Addon  (Read 1510 times)

Do we have a heaset addon?

Just something that goes around the head with earphones, and has a little mic.

Requiring it as a prop.

Model I can do, but no idea how to make it into a hat. Or do you need it as brick?

It has been made and ive seen it, not sure if it was released though.

I would suggest looking into other hats from the hat mod, or even better, ones like the greek helmet that use a slash command. The hat mod gave me tons of lag, for some stupid reason.

I can have one done by this afternoon if I get a .blend of the default minifig.

It's somewhere on the forums, but I don't know where. Have a look around and see if you can find it.

For all the help and files for making it (comes with a default hat model to work on you must find the original
simplewell hats, it comes with a tutorial and info for making your own hats.

If this does get done I'd prefer if you made it with events instead of a slash command (like lordican's event remake of the Daft Punk helmets).

i don't get how this can be useful.

There used to be a tutorial on the RTB Forums on how to get Sketchup models into Blender, but I don't remember how and all the topics on RTB are gone. If anyone can figure out how to get Sketchup models into Blender, feel free to do so and color/texture it yourself.

Well that's exactly how I would have done it. Add a little mic cube at the end.

That's perfect. Like Demian said, a little mic cube or maybe a low poly sphere.
