What type of gamemodes do you play alot? Some are not so well suited for Scouts.

I find myself playing Sniper and Medic.
But most people get mad when I play Sniper because I use a bow.

Unlockables are just to fit people's many different playstyles.

I myself do good enough as a scout with any primary, the default pistol and the boston basher. And a default soldier.

i play stock demo, stock engi and almost-stock scout

i only use one unlockable weapon throughout any of these classes, and it's one of the weapons that actually do LESS damage.

I use almost no stock weapons, I just like unlockables better.

Since on the xbox we only use default weapons I'll know what classes I'm good with when my PC finally runs TF2.

Unless it's changed since I last played, months ago, the default weapons work just as well as the others. I mostly played as a heavy or sometimes spy and maybe pyro, depending on the map. Maybe you just suck, because I'm normally pretty bad with any sort of multiplayer on any game and I do alright.
