I don't know what to think, honestly.
I've been playing Roblox for almost a decade. I quit some time in 09-10, but I have some real nostalgic memories of my "early days" in literally 2005.
Roblox is what actually got me into gaming...
This is going to ruin them.
I can predict only about 1/4th of the kiddos who watched the commercial will be able to buy Builder's Club... They won't be able to put back the funds they spent on this stuff.
Plus, all of those corporate executives will see all of their copyrighted and trademarked brands all over Free Models...
I should be happy. I hate Roblox. At least, I hate DisneyXDblox. They've been heading downhill for a while after they did that Zeke & Luther stuff.
...Augh, now I'm rambling.
You know, Blockland could actually use a television commercial.
If you advertise on the WRONG channels, like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, then yes, it'll attract several braindead handicaps that'll fill our stuff with Family RPs. If the commercial is like this one and is trying to appeal to pre-teens and around that age group, that'll hurt too.
HOWEVER, if you advertise on a channel like Architects United, or Technology, or Discovery, then it might attract some coolio eggheads that are interested in coding. If the commercial is dramatic and is focused on the capability of coding, creativity, architecture and collaboration, and focused on young adults (17-30)... Well, there's only one way to find out.
