Sure looks like a real product to me. And why would anyone want to steal the name "Wii U", why not trademark "Wii" plus every other letter in the alphabet.

it's so third party makers don't make something that seems official. if something is called the "wii zaper U" you assume it's the wii zapper for the wii u and that it's official. then it's stuff and there's nothing nintendo can do about it.
