Yeah so recently I've been listening to Haste The Day, Oh Sleeper, and As I Lay Dying. Good bands. <3

Also double bass at 3:28 oh god what.

What about Symphonic Metal and Heavy(like Gary Moore) allowed?
Since when did Gary Moore become metal? He's blues / rock. Maybe hard rock.

don't hate me for having a differentiated opinion here or whatever
but everything in the op sounds like feces smeared on a dead baby, and then converted into soundwaves and forced into my ears
it's not even music

Good, that's how it should sound to someone who doesn't appreciate it.

the vocals are like
not even vocals
just "BRUURUHHUSUHHURSUHHSUHUHUUHRH UHURUHRURHURHURUBRhuGHGHUghug huUGHUGU"
but anyway I like some lighter metal (lolmetallica)

Like I said, you don't know how to appreciate it. Growling takes talent, you have to know how to do it without hurting yourself and how to make it sound good. I've been working on mine for years and it's still not quite perfected. When you've been listening to it for as long as I have it becomes just as normal and distinct as singing.
