Author Topic: Transformer vehicle  (Read 1630 times)

Basicly a transforming vehicle like the ones from transformers 1 2 and 3 i was thinking it could transform with the jet key wile your in the vehicle and maybe some transforming motions?

What about go-bots? I want a Rock Lord!

Search kid, search.
This has been asked for before.

It's possible, but I dunno who is going to do this.

Good idea, but the animations would be extremely complex and the code would be chaos to match with the animations for each individual move ie; A arm transformation.

not really.
Model could be a really simple thing, and when the player crouches, they do an animation in which they transform, allowing them to move faster.

No one likes a Rock Lord?

Ya you can get a transformer but the lag will be incredible!

Warning: May cause lag. Label

It would take at least 40 good scripters to make it.

It's possible.
Not that hard, if you do it the easy way.
What.

I sincerely doubt that the lag would be that bad, but the modeling process could take over a month of hard work.
First of all, you would have to make a ton of different parts and joints, and second, you would have to make complicated animations.

The "easy way" would be to just have two models, one as a car, one as a robot, but then there would still be the issue of other animations; walking, running, jumping, probably not crouching, sitting possibly, etc. It would still probably take ages.

or an easy blockland version instead of a moviestar

a cheap ass way of doing this would be take the turismo, take the mech, make a key the change models button, and boom you have a transformer.  The scripting would be like the side-arm sniper thing someone made.

by the way, i found a glitch in that weapon the first day i used it.

If someone wanted to convert a vehicle into a bot, I could do it with events no sweat.
Actually I made a boat transformer one time using events.

Not that hard. Take crouchracer, change datablock on crouch, apply animation during process, bam. Animations should be simple to fit "blocko".
