Is this game fun alone?
Im thinking about getting it but I feel as if i wont have fun playing it alone.

https://steamcommunity.com/id/frozeneye if i get it and you want to play
i find it fun alone

You lose 10% of your money.

That's stupid, I just want to die and reach a game over screen. Now this game seems like it's too easy.

Die, see a game over screen, load a checkpoint.

Ignore tony, he likes to complain about stuff in games

I don't want easy, if I want to play an easy game I'll buy some crap kid game.

Have you played Demon's Souls? That's the level of difficulty I am looking for. If you die in that game you start over from the beginning, you also lose ALL your money and each time you die the game becomes 20% harder because you are unable to regain some of your health.

I have a reason to complain. I want a challenge, I don't want to recover later at some checkpoint.

Not everyone enjoys putting 40 hours into a character only to have it all erased by dying once. If game developers started doing that, nobody would buy their games.

I never said your data would erase, you just start back at the beginning of the level unless you reach one of the 4 checkpoints which are usually found after you kill the boss.

Just shut the hell up and go play a roguelike then.

What is roguelike?

That sounds frustrating and not really fun.

It's actually pretty fun because the more you die the more you learn. You start to realize that running around like an idiot will get you nowhere and then you start developing different strategies to get through the level.

the problem is

it's VERY VERY easy to die in dead island

VERY easy

mostly in the higher levels though

And if it had a gameover screen then it would be my kind of game.

If I only lose 10% of my money I have no reason to be careful now, I probably could just run right through the levels. The scare factor of the game is diminished too because you don't have to worry about death.

Then go play Demon Soul. Jesus.
