This is why there was a megathread for jailbreaking a while ago.
Redsn0w is reliable, I've used it in the past, and as far as usability it's very straight forward.
All you really have to do is google redsn0w ipod touch 4.3.3, and look for a link at redmond pie.

http://everythingapplepro.net/?p=118You'll have to revert to 4.2.2, so save a backup of your ipod in iTunes. Once you've backed it up, right click the restore button, and choose the correct firmware file you downloaded from the link above. This will revert it to the older version, at which point you can run the jailbreaking program successfully. Once in Redsn0w, the directions will be pretty straightforward. Let me know if anything doesn't work.
