This is why there was a megathread for jailbreaking a while ago.

Redsn0w is reliable, I've used it in the past, and as far as usability it's very straight forward.

All you really have to do is google redsn0w ipod touch 4.3.3, and look for a link at redmond pie.

You'll have to revert to 4.2.2, so save a backup of your ipod in iTunes. Once you've backed it up, right click the restore button, and choose the correct firmware file you downloaded from the link above. This will revert it to the older version, at which point you can run the jailbreaking program successfully. Once in Redsn0w, the directions will be pretty straightforward. Let me know if anything doesn't work.

There are so many other things to do besides pirate apps. I know a bunch of people with jailbroken devices, but only a couple of them pirate apps.

its the mac/pc thing all over again. spend more then you need for a device that cant do what you want.
then hack it up to be like the other's instead.

skip the middle man, save your money. start out with win right from the start. so much pride to be a apple cow. do you guys really get the high fives in the streets for it?

Greenpois0n is still the best jailbreak but its only on 4.2

I used Greenpoins0n its easy and you just click and plug in your ipod and follow the onscreeen directions.
