Author Topic: Event request (it's complicated, just read this.)  (Read 2084 times)

It's an actual GUI I made in the editor by the way. Only if someone would script it..

It's an actual GUI I made in the editor by the way.
That is what I assumed...

Isn't all the coding for it locked up in .dso files? Badspot would need to implement it, unless you know wtf you're doing with the stuff you can't see.

Well, people have made edits of default GUI's before, why can't we do it now?

Because this requires serverside and clientside, as well as a bunch of coding to actually do the actions without chance of abuse... Not a ton, but still more than would make sense from a user.

I like demian's second gui edit, /support

Demian, lock the other topic. Cross-Posting is a problem because it can break up conversation and make things confusing, and it's doing that now. You didn't mean to, but you're causing the problem of Cross-Posting.

He's made that before testing the possibilities. He added emitter when I'm pretty sure you can't simply rotate an emitter and change it's direction. It's not so simple.

When you click send dont it send a servercmd?
If so, just figure out the command it sends, parent and add the variable to the end?
I would script it if I had internet on my computer.

You do realize giving a user (359x359x359)+ different options in the base menu can be bad, right?
What..?

How?

Your unnecessarily complicated idea made me think too complicated. Let's revamp the Wrench dialog.

Ignore my custom GUI colors. Rotations in degrees allowing much more customizability. Could do the same with emitter direction too.

How did you open that Dialog file?

What..?

How?

Noobs whining "How do I rotate it THIS way? I don't understand these three numbers! I hate this Wrench GUI! This is for events!" Noobs putting in numbers slightly off because they don't care, whatever.

GUI Editor. Search.

Not forget add light.

Not forget add light.
Unless we have spotlights now, what are you talking about.

They don't have to download the GUI. The GUI is client sided. The event is server sided. They both do the same thing but are two separate add-ons?
