Congratulations, you're now the owner of something that simply says Alienware on it. You're like a Hummer owner, you'll never go off-roading with an off-road vehicle but still buy it just to say you have one.

Except it's not even an off road vehicle. It's a car that has four wheel drive.

For a gaming laptop, he doesn't meet the Processor Req for 2d games, including Terraria.
So He needs to take back his computer or he is forgeted. I can't imagine him playing Blockland on anything but low.

Congratulations! You just wasted $500 on a case.

the MX11 without any customization is $700.
So basically, He wasted $700 on a Computer that can open a lot of notepads, considering that is about the only thing he can run.
I just found out his processor meets the requirements for Solitaire.

Oh. I also found out that his graphics card prossesor meets the requirements for Minesweeper.

I already bought it and still have plenty of cash left over.

This is where you're a moron.

You basically spent $700+ to be able to play Blockland on the go. If you had all this cash left over, wouldn't it be smart to, you know, BUY SOMETHING BETTER?

Good lord the stupidity

Alienware does a good job of making children think that their computers are good by adding fancy lights and symbols everywhere.

Whatever. They're still dumb.

If you examine my post edit I made, The difference is more than just quality.
The Falcon is basically an expensive door stop when you purchase it.

Thought I'd also mention my stuffty overpriced dell from almost two years ago costs about $700 or so without the monitor.
And It is better than that Mach V in almost every way.
4 GB ram, 2.9 Ghz, etc.
Yes, they are overpriced, but they are put together by the best prebuilt people. They also make one of the most powerful laptops if you have the money. You can't exactly build your own laptop, so if you needed one, it's there.

Also, 2.9GHz Pentium would suck, but a 2.9GHz i7 whips ass. You need to be specific.

My irl friend bought an m11x with those specs, isn't that the cheapest it can go?

It seems nice but personally IMO having an alienware makes you look weird.

Intel Core 2Duo Cpu E7500, 2.93GHz, 2Cpus. Works good for what I use if for.
Either way you put it, 3.4 is going to be better than 2.8.
Not everyone has $3,000 to use to buy a laptop.

Fixed.
They aren't worth buying at all.
Anybody who knows anything computers would notice this instantly.

I know they don't. I've only posted the falcon thing in about 3 topics, and this one I was explaining it to Ladios. I don't know why you got all defensive.

When you buy something, You buy the best, cause in the long run, your gonna end up paying more for the cheap stuff.
Except you didn't buy the best. if you choose a different brand, you could have gotten much better for the same price, or the same thing for less.

Not trying to be defensive, just having a discussion with somebody I actually like on the forums.
I was just trying to find out why you prefer them over something cheaper and more realistic.
Maybe you just have more money available to you or something, but I don't have $2,000 to buy a computer.
My budget for my next computer ranges around 700-1100.

Overpriced doesn't mean the Best.
You bought a piece of stuff, and now you must accept it.
