Author Topic: SpawnEmitter Event  (Read 1541 times)

Its like the spawnitem event for a player but instead its spawn emitter

Example.

onactivate-player-spawnemitter

well it'd be more of a setEmitter thing.

and yes i don't know why this doesn't exist yet

This could be so horrible so easily. I lag from looking at some emitters... And having one stuck to me? But I do see many practical uses for this.

You'd think blockland would have one of these.

Yeah, but which node would spawn the emitter?
Or would it just come out of the entire player?
Personally, I'd like some options, possibly even including emitterscale, if that's possible, but it probably isn't.
For example, though, imagine a fire emitter, scaled down slightly, coming out of your head.
I would love that.

Change the settings in the options.

I don't want other emitters to look like crap either.

Then don't use this event?

I suggest feeling bad for yourself because you'd need better hardware to enjoy them.

I can play Crysis on the High setting for graphics - My "hardware" isn't bad :/
Anyways I'm getting a new graphics card soon... Will be able to play Battlefield 3 on High  (No current graphics will meet the maximum for Battlefield 3)

I guess that's similar to how i can run all of my Steam games on high, but in Garry's Mod, too many particles will start to lag me, i don't know if that's how it is for Blockland though
