I'm an atheist, but I love churches. Both the interior and exterior is beautiful, and it's always calm and cool inside. I only go to churches for the singing. The religion may be dumb, but you have to admire the buildings themselves.

I could care less if your atheist, and this topic is pointless. But lemme point some things out.

Church is not just sitting, you know. You can choose to go to different groups. I go to youth groups most of the time where half of my friends are there and my pastor is awesome. But this all depends on what your religion is.

i'm muslim myself, but i don't believe some of the stuff. like, adam and eve, i believe something made something happened and whatever big bang whatever you call it happened and stuff. i respect that muslims don't need huge ass buildings to pray in and that they can all pray in local area or something. but that place where almost all muslims gather in the world is beautiful, much like how i agree with narkro about church's designs.

I LOVE the way a lot of churches look. I was in Spokane the other day and saw this church that looked like a mssive castle, truly amazing.

I'm not personally Christian, nor atheist, but you bring up some...interesting points. There's nothing wrong with giving thanks for your food, even if you're just thanking the nice man at the grocery store who sold it to you.

You do know that the Islam religion uses Mosques, which are similar to churches. They also pray about five times a day.

God could make creatures without free will, but He already has those (Non - Arch Angels).


We were just an experiment by Him to see how a creature with complete free will that he could experiment to see how faithful a creature could be to him with mostly limited and subtle intervention in the world He created for us.

At least, from my point of view. The main point is, He gave us the choice whether to believe in Him or not.

durr, im so stupid. a non-profit organization needs donations. of course they would need a lot since the church i go to every 6 months or something has free breakfast every week.

I think most people use religion as sort of a blame game. They want excuses for bad things that are really just chance. Just look at midevil 'science' lol
