When I try to open any steam games or apps i get a error saying

steam.exe (main exception): cannot open blob archive file: CMultifieldBlob(mem mapped file): failed to open file

wat do?

My steam's working just fine.

Steam is working perfectly normal for me.

In fact, I was PMing someone with Steam, so no errors at the moment.

It won't let me do anything, it just says that when i click on the icon

unless maybe my E: harddrive is being a bitch and is not being recognized.

If it's still not working, go to your c:/program files/steam and delete everything in there except steam.exe and the folder called "steamapps". once it deletes everything, click the "steam.exe" button and it'll launch steam. it'll update, ask for you to log in and then all your games will still be there. c:

that's how I fix every steam issue. :D

weird. :o try deleting your steamapps folder in that case too. beware, that's all of your games and mods and stuff.
