Lightning storms with a spice of hard rain with pieces of ice.
Had this in 3 days this week now.
Yesterday lightning hit my power and fried one of my laptops

It got bad here.  I could hear the thunder over my ipod on full volume.  In the basement.

We had some really good lightening, and I heard thunder occasionally for hours. I didn't know about rain last night but I got up this morning, everything was still just soaked, I'm guessing it poured for a while. :o

It's funny because just yesterday I was saying we needed more storms. :3

That is seriously my favorite type of weather, that and heavy snowstorms

I'm going to get some thunderstorms tonight, which is good for me because the noise of thunder puts me to sleep, that is if it's not so freaking close and loud

It's a thrillride.
Same reason people like rollercoasters and bungie jumping.

I haven't had any Storms since April, I think.
And before that, the last storm we had was a Snow Storm in January.
And before that, the last few were a couple of storms in October.
It's been a rather dry and hot year this year.

I like them because they're not a day-to-day thing. It's scary, it's thrilling, it changes things up. Cheesy answers but it's a difficult question.

Oh god yes. Only bad part is we'd have to end up shoveling the loving cars out and shoveling the driveway open.
