Runescape - I accidentally screwed a information steal site.

I had been ignoring these emails I thought were from some old forum I abandoned since the subjects talked about "receiving" stuff. I decided to click on the last one today, and it says this:

We have recently found your account suspicious of the following offense: Account Sharing.

This offence has been added to your offence history, however it may not show up immediately on all Jagex sites.

Complying with our policies, you must confirm that you are the owner of your accounts. This is easily done by clicking the link below and confirming all of your accounts.

Now, I abandoned Runescape YEARS ago, with absolutely NOTHING on it. How the forget could my account start getting shared? I logged in there, and the offenses/mute bars were empty. There was also this:

Reason: Offence Quashed

What the HELL has been going on with my account over the past few years? Moreover, why do they keep misspelling "offense..."


Edit: Turned out to be an information stealing site. Except I guessed me information, so they don't got jack stuff.

Whatever information those starfishs got won't work, I jsut thought I guessed it right on the first try. Runescape's site literally says "Accounts made before November 2010 use Email to log in" so what I did should never have worked.

Double money scam can be cheated in an easy way, I forget the exact math behind it but with a certain number set you can earn way more then them without them noticing.

I don't use Runescape at all. I abandoned it years ago. I was just thinking "Wtf, how and why was my information stolen?" and went in there. I put it random login guess and it worked. Then I was like "Where's all my stuff?" So I clicked "Runescape home" and I see the same site but I'm suddenly logged out. I go to log in and it says a totally different message. So I'm like "LOL, well I gave that site the stuff-around!"

In fact, if you get this email, start dumping in random information until they can't figure out what's real.

i abandoned runescape months ago, stuff was getting to money grubbing for my tastes. it's not worth going back, litterally everything is "members benefits" and "members items" and "super cool dungeoneering based qests with handicapped plots and shallow npcs." i might aswell play adventure quest.
oh yeah, and the stupid clan stuff, so much stupid clan stuff.
