It's about the nebulous economy that doesn't actually exist. Everyone's reliant on the US currency keeping its value right now because of reasons that I don't really understand.

The US has borrowed so much money from China... We are in debt of trillions of dollars, and let me tell you something people here in their teens along with me.

We are going to be paying this debt off through taxes.
And our kids will be paying it off.
And their kids will be paying it off.

Guess what their kids, our great-great grandkids will be doing?

Ok China doesn't own all of our debt. The American people hold about 70% (about 10 trillion) of the total debt. China holds about 1.2 trillion and Japan is next with about 900 billion.
