Author Topic: FSX or X-Plane 9?  (Read 586 times)

I'm buying a joystick to play X3 with, and I want a flight sim or two to buy, also. nothing expensive.

gogo.

topic is now FSX or X-Plane 9. Idk. Graphics, realism, stuff like that matter. Maybe downloadable content such as freeware add-on planes and stuff too (i know they have these for XP9)

YS flight is okay, and it's free...

I might buy IL-2: 1946 since it's only $10, also.

X-Plane, it is the best for simulating airplane movement and the like.
The community has also a stuff ton of planes, airports, re-textures and the like.

From what I've seen, yes X-Plane does the best job at simulating aircraft realistically. I don't know if flight simulator X does it too, but X plane is notable because it has realistic physics based on airfoil design and aircraft shape.

fsx is fun in mp

It may seem boring, but I like being air traffic control for some reason.

hmm yeah mp does seem interesting. what about that expansion for fsx, would i need to get that?

This. It sums it up quite well.

Despite the price, it is totally worth it, it's fun.

X Plane 9 is only 30 dollars from the website though (doesn't seem like much to me)... you don't need the 500 dollar FAA certified version.

X-plane. It is just better. I haven't really tried FSX, but I know X-plane is better. And X-plane 10 will come out eventually, it was scheduled for like, October of last year, but it may be this October...
