Author Topic: Anyone know of a good N64 emulator?  (Read 732 times)

I have a couple of old N64 games, however. I have no idea where my N64 console is. I really want to play my gaems, but lack the ability to because of said reasons.

Mainly, Super Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros.

Now, I do not understand piracy completely, but since I own these 2 games, it is legal, right?

(Not sure if right board either)

No you don't understand it.  You must rip the roms yourself, I suggest buying a retrode.

Get Project64 and you can probably find a ROM site pretty easily.

Project64 isn't really all that great with the default graphic plugin, but it's fine for SM64 and SSB.

No it isn't.

ROMs aren't illegal if you own the game.

And besides that, older ROMs are of Abandonware, which I thought I remember reading in the rules is allowed as long as it is confirmed...

Abandonware is a whole different thing and is not illegal to my understanding.

Yes but I'm sure he could find ways to make $20 (or how ever much they are worth) if not just ask for the money..
