Author Topic: Apple has more money than the US goverment  (Read 5109 times)

Apple DID make the first computer that used a GUI.

Apple DID make the first computer that used a GUI.

yeah but now their computers are godawful

have you ever used a Mac

But if Apple went out of business, the world could keep going. The US defaults, the whole world goes to stuff.
exactly. And I don't see Apple paying for a whole country's military budgets, education, or transportation either. So Apple's expenses, in comparison to the US government's expenses, are stuff. Therefor, whether or not Apple has more money is irrelevant.

Macs aren't better than PCs in my opinion, but their iPods, iPhones, and iPads are loving yes.

Can I ask why you're so biased against Macintosh?

Have you ever used a mac?

I use a Mac and a Windows computer, and I like both.

Yes. I did a video editing class on it, with Final Cut, it worked great. The back got hotter than a nuclear reactor but I never had any issues with it. I also used an Imac G5 from 2006 for PhotoShop.

mac is pretty good. it's better than dell...

Lol. Thats my one complaint about mac. Their fans and cooling systems are stuff.

My MacBook sometimes gets up to 120 degrees...

At my old school, we were forced to use a million brand new macbooks and a couple imacs in a certain class. Never been used. I've also had to use them on certain other occasions. The OS is complete crap. It's full of holes and something crashed for me every 20 minutes.
They're overpriced. This is one reason why apple has so much money because you get the exact same hardware you can get in a non-Mac computer for $600 less.
The community - Apple has created an egoistical fanbase full of computer illiterates who think they're knowing what they're saying/doing. "MY MAC IS BETTER BECAUSE IT CAN DO (x feature any other computer can do)." The reason this happens is because Macs are designed for computer illiterates who think more money = more quality.
As for the design, there's no right-click without an additional mouse, you have to use ctrl instead which is utter pointless. There's little to no ventilation on their laptops; I wouldn't be surprised if anything was melted about a year into use. The keyboards get sticky after about 5 minutes of use.

I could list a thousand other reasons but I'm not trying to start a debate here.

Well, I want to debate.

First of all, how long ago was it that you used the macs? My Mac has never crashed. Not once.

No, macs are not made for rich people who dont know about computers. They are made for people who work with programs such as Photoshop and several other programs. Macs were designed for people to work with these programs, and are not ment for gaming, so dont try to bring that up in an argument that "Macs cant pleh gaems!"

And, if you actually looked at a mac, you would soon find out that you can right click by doing several things,
1: Going into settings and setting it up so when you click the right side of the trackpad/mouse that it  right clicks. (hurr)

2: On a laptop, if you have 2 fingers on the Trackpad, then click, it simulates a right click.

3: Ctrl Click

Mah post broke.

Your call.

Last use was 2 months ago.

Since a good majority of mac users actually ARE, and Apple has designed the OS to be easy enough for less computer-smart people, then I'm pretty sure it was.

They are made for people who work with programs such as Photoshop and several other programs. Macs were designed for people to work with these programs,
This is completely irrelevant since Photoshop works on other platforms, and every program on the Mac has an equivalent or alternative on another platform that is close enough or almost exactly the same.

and are not ment for gaming, so dont try to bring that up in an argument that "Macs cant pleh gaems!"
I wasn't going to use that as an argument. I'm well aware of this.

I wasn't specifically talking about laptops here. Almost every desktop Mac comes with a crappy one-button mouse.

As for the laptops, put yourself in the perspective of someone who has used decent computers the majority of their life. Would they know to look for this, especially since it's not enabled by default?

Due to financial logics:
Apple is a country on itself now.

Nice job pointing at the mouse only, forgethead. You do realize its not that loving bad without a right mouse button? You do realize its a loving usb mouse and you can buy another one? Also, OSX is blended perfectly with PhotoShop. Its just simpler, you don't need all the stuff on Windows.

You don't have to loving say forget in the middle of every loving sentence.
