At my old school, we were forced to use a million brand new macbooks and a couple imacs in a certain class. Never been used. I've also had to use them on certain other occasions. The OS is complete crap. It's full of holes and something crashed for me every 20 minutes.
They're overpriced. This is one reason why apple has so much money because you get the exact same hardware you can get in a non-Mac computer for $600 less.
The community - Apple has created an egoistical fanbase full of computer illiterates who think they're knowing what they're saying/doing. "MY MAC IS BETTER BECAUSE IT CAN DO (x feature any other computer can do)." The reason this happens is because Macs are designed for computer illiterates who think more money = more quality.
As for the design, there's no right-click without an additional mouse, you have to use ctrl instead which is utter pointless. There's little to no ventilation on their laptops; I wouldn't be surprised if anything was melted about a year into use. The keyboards get sticky after about 5 minutes of use.
I could list a thousand other reasons but I'm not trying to start a debate here.
Well, I want to debate.
First of all, how long ago was it that you used the macs? My Mac has never crashed. Not once.
No, macs are not made for rich people who dont know about computers. They are made for people who work with programs such as Photoshop and several other programs. Macs were designed for people to work with these programs, and are not ment for gaming, so dont try to bring that up in an argument that "Macs cant pleh gaems!"
And, if you actually looked at a mac, you would soon find out that you can right click by doing several things,
1: Going into settings and setting it up so when you click the right side of the trackpad/mouse that it right clicks. (hurr)
2: On a laptop, if you have 2 fingers on the Trackpad, then click, it simulates a right click.
3: Ctrl Click
