It's not your concern why he want's it. He could have many reasons, like his little brother or over-protective parents.

Some servers with blood and gore are a ton of fun, and yet it's a problem for a few kids, because often the rule is no blood, and gore is just making it worse.
I personally don't mind or have any reason not to enjoy the blood and gore mod, it's just other people.

Ontopic:  It's possible to remove, but it removes most of the emitters.  Go to Blockland/base/data/(is it "particle") and look for the cloud image.  Delete* it and replace with the common blank.png.  If you want ALL blood gone, also do the same with the dot texture.

*Do NOT delete, move to annother location where you will know where it is.

This is the only possible ways to client sidedly remove emmiters and I'm unsure if even this works try it out.

Couldn't you just download the bloodmod and replace all the textures? It's what I did when my parents were complaining.

the blood mod uses textures that come with blockland also

Although most people see this as a joke, I'd like to see this done. I think some people are just so into gore in their video games, that they have to have it, even in this little lego game. Personally I don't like it, it's unfitting, annoying, and just kind of gross.

Again, it's not your concern why he wants to take out the blood. If you're just going to attack him for not wanting blood you shouldn't be in the topic in the first place. You have no idea what going on on the other side of the screen. My parents want me to take the blood out of my games. If I try to argue with them they just take the damn game off me. You don't know what their parents are thinking.
