I thought you meant Magic cards...:(

in the slot

like, what if the slot is too big or too small for it? is that possible?
The slot won't be an issue. As long as it's a PCI-E slot, and PCI-E card will fit in it.
Some cards are huge though and your case might not be big enough, or other things might be in the way.

i used to have that on one of those dumb micro pc things, it will run games but not on high settings

running games is really all i wish for right now lol

it will probably run up to fallout3 on low-medium.

also, is this a good power supply?

No. NEVER skimp on Power Supply. It's really important you get a trusted brand.
So, you decided on the 5670, and not the 6670?
Just gonna say that it's a big step up and would be well worth it, and it's still ~$100 with the rebate.

ethan, i won't be doing any major gaming. i just want to play tf2 and minecraft and other games without any lag. plus, i play all my games windowed, so resolution won't be a problem even though my monitor is 1920 x 1080

plus, acording to youtube videos and reviews it can run most games on high/max settings with AA around 30-60 fps

also, apparently the 6670 is only slightly better performance wise

it being huge won't be a problem then, apparently the card is very small

If you play games windowed, it's even more strain on the GPU.

orly? i've noticed a lot less lag when i go from fullscreen to windowed in cs:s, gmod, and team fortress 2

That's the one I linked to.

What OS are you using?
I meant if you use Aero, as it has to render the transparency and other stuff, but most people use it nowadays.

I'm using Windows 7.

Also, yeah I'm using Aero.

What resolution do you run it while windowed?
Windowed+Borderless (looks like full screen) but so you can alt+tab, or small in the middle of your screen?
