This might be the wrong place for this, but I need help logging in through the downloaded version of Steam. A message keeps coming up saying:

This is my first time trying to log in, my router is fine so it's not my internet, I clicked Troubleshoot and found nothing wrong there. I also tried logging in through the website and that didn't work either. I tried creating another account and the same message comes up. Please help. It has been like this for a long while.

Try adding a exception to your firewall.

It might be that your location is bad. I know that every time I go to my grandparents house, my laptop has trouble connecting to steam. You'll probably have to contact steam support if nobody finds a solution for you here.
