I would go to a dark area, spray some graffiti and have it suddenly stop with dropped paint can and some fake blood and put a hidden camera there and watch all the freaked out people :D

But on topic, nice photos.
I might be able to use some clever photo manipulation to get the graffiti and turn it into prints/decals/whatever.

Do you think you could post some more pictures?

What don't you like about the other ones?
I'm in no real position to be criticizing, but they're just ... boring. Not very well lit, nothing in the photos for the eyes to enjoy. They're just dark, ruined, boring interiors of run-down buildings. Though, you do have potential.

Also how do you get into these buildings?

Also how do you get into these buildings?
My friend's dad owns the building. The building is "boarded up" but with even the slightest effort one can easily break in. That's how all the bums get in!

Also, to Mega-Bear, again, I didn't have long to shoot the building. All the interior shots you see were taken within an hour and twenty minutes, and that includes the time spent dragging the 40 pound generator and ~100 feet of extension cord between floors with the work light. I also wanted to see and photograph as much as the building as possible, so if I had had more time I would've spent more time composing shots, and also would've switched from the 18-55 lens to the 50mm f/1.8 which would've produced a lot better looking shots with good looking bokeh like the plant one you liked and I would've found small interesting objects to photograph in creative ways instead of taking more architectural, wide angle shots like the majority of these are.

But even if I'd had more time, I probably would've ended up taking a lot more architectural shots, because I really really like architecture and architectural photography.

More pictures for you greedy whores.

Why such limited time?

Why such limited time?
Because my friend didn't get off work until 4 and I had to start working at 6.

and then he was 40 minutes late :c

I thought you were just trying to avoid the hobos and axe murderers.

lol

I love the one with your shadow and the electric boxes

as a matter of fact I love all of them

damn I wish I could explore that building

The one you just posted with the staircase and lit-up window looks cool. :)

I found out that there is an old abandoned sawmill near where I live.

abandoned in the sense that no one works there, but it is still upkept in the case it needs to run again. I wonder if the security guards would let people in for photoing?
