Author Topic: Nexus S speaker broken, how to fix?  (Read 2204 times)

Hitting/Shaking something fixes like 60% of the problems Ive ever had with an electronic device
Okay, tried that solution.
Apparently hitting it hard enough makes it work for a second.
This leads me to the conclusion of that it's a loose cable.

Hmm, I can't seem to get this thing open. The six screws under the battery panel are gone but it still won't let go. :/

EDIT: Also, that "solution" doesn't seem to work any more.

I'm not sure what to tell you, I just fixed a nexus s with a blown phone ear piece thing.

I have a Nexus S aswell though, mine is bugging out, if I plug it into speakers, it starts playing/changing my music out of the blue and it refuses to charge sometimes.

I'm thinkin about going and buying an iPhone.

I knew I should have bought the HTC Desire HD instead.

Its not that good either, lol. People bring phones to the store all the time to get unlocked and such, and I've played with it, its meh.

I have a friend who is satisfied with his DHD.

But what do you think I should have got then?

What carrier?

What carrier?
I don't like buying from a carrier as I quite frequently travel between Denmark (where I use TDC) and Sweden (where I use Halebop).
So I always buy my phones without any plan and from a generic phone store (or, from the manufacturer's website).

Oh, okay, so you're in EU, all phones are open game.

In all honesty, the phone I've always been most satisfied with was the iPhone. I don't care much for bootloaders and stuff, all my apps are legit, etc, so I don't mind the fact that its closed off.

But the phone I've loved the most since I've had phones?

The Motorola Razr. Classic gray one. That bitch was sweet.

However, developing (legitly) for the iPhone requires a Mac, as well as paying a monthly fee.

False, there's a free version of the SDK, you just can't upload to app store. :o

So I can't make and distribute and applications if I don't both:
  • Use a Mac
  • Pay $99/year
  • Learn ANOTHER language + generic API, etc

Oh, and don't mind it takes several weeks to get approval.

I'd say Android beats that.

However, that's not really the point, can we get back on topic please?
