THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

skyrim confirmed to require steam to run... another stuffty DRM deal
What?
How does that make any sense?

it was just confirmed today
Oh really?
I assumed it was only on Steam since the QuakeCon preordering.

Forget what I said.

some games REQUIRE you to install gfwl to run. it was confirmed that gfwl was not going to be needed, but steam is going to take its place. basically it forces you to run and own steam, even with the retail copy, so it can confirm you have a valid copy. this is to prevent piracy, even though it doesn't prevent it well at all. new vegas does this as well from what i've heard and i believe GTA does it too. battlefield 3 will probably use origin to do this. it's a way to "prevent piracy" while suckering you in to using some stuffty program.

I would normally complain about games that make you have some sort of game launcher, except Steam is actually a good game launcher.

Having to run something on Steam AS WELL as download another stuffty game launcher, now that's just stuffty.

i dont like it because i dont want to get messaged by =@Nyancat <3[Spaicrab :3]@= every time i log in

being the only one who bothers to look for new info,

As awesome as it looks, I wish most of the new screenshots weren't of Kahjiits and Argonians.

How many of the people who played the demo at quakecon released a story of it? I've read only about 3 so far.

But does that mean I'll always have to be connected to the internet to play?
I lose internet a lot.

i honestly don't know since i don't buy games that use this crap. can you use steam games when your internet it down? i don't know. if you can then you can probably play.

Is there a place I can find them all in one spot? Like the Skyrim forums or something?

I'd like to see:
-Cloaks

-Hallucinogenic Drugs/Drunkness

-Horse Variation(if I want to have the fastest horse in the game, I don't want to always ride a black horse. Matching stats with hair color makes no sense. Horses need to be of many breeds and each individual horse needs to have different stats.)

-Lycanthropy and Vampirism(no lycanthropy for vampires, and no vampirism for lycanthropes)

-Death by Flying Objects(throw a clay pot at an opponent to get an advantage when barfighting)

-Fines in Specific Counties, as Opposed to Fines Across the Whole Continent

>Most wanted list

Needs more werevampiwolfs.

Just like Star Wars needs more Wookieewoks.
