Yeah. I never liked Mysticism much.
It's not that I didn't
like it. It was just pointless. What was in it that was so important? I mean, yes, it is the manipulation of mystic forces as opposed to Alteration which was physical forces, but most of it was manipulating physical aspects of the world anyway. Everything except soul trap could fit in Destruction or Alteration. But soul trap could technically fit into restoration if they edited it's description slightly. :o
To anyone who did like mysticism name one genuinely useful spell that it had.
Like I said, Soul trap. But that was really it. And that was all that really actually fit in the catagory. Everything else was just stuffing that wasn't useful enough to fit anywhere else.
Also, I'm talking about it from Morrowind. In Oblivion, it was made a bit more useful, but once again, they could have placed those spells anywhere. They were just afraid of change. :c
