THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

You can't find any MMORPGs with detail and quality like an Elder Scrolls game.
Because they rely on the multiplayer feature.

Multiplayer should be an addition, not a feature.

Ouch
That would work just fine, if you can solo the whole loving game then you can explore a dungeon alone, that doesn't even make sense.
Minecraft has multiplayer and infinitely large maps smd

As if I was actually trying to offend you

Please use your brain and realize you can't play the whole map with another person and 2 worlds is an example of why i'm pretty sure.

Once again I said there's no way to implement multiplayer without making it suck

Please kill yourself you dolt

I agree with that. I want a great game that has multiplayer, not a great multiplayer game.

I think it would be an extremely fun time to play this with a friend. That's all I'm saying.
I don't understand why everyone called me out, some hipster friend for wanting to play this with a buddy.

Yes there is, stop being a moron, dude stop being such a blind starfish.

I'm telling you, multiplayer would cause so many game breaking aspects it's not worth it.
I can't sit here explaining them all but there are too many.

The singleplayer adds to the game's atmosphere. What could compare to being the only one in a massive Ayleid city slinking around in the dark, sniping bandits with a bow and arrow?
If there were another person in there with you, it'd ruin the fun of being the only one who can effectively deal with these miscreants. It's thrilling.
It'd throw off the balance too. It's not World of Warcraft, there aren't areas for more high-level characters. The difficulty is tailored to one person and one person alone.
And this isn't Minecraft, leave it out of this.

Actually, the difficulty is leveled base on the area you're in as well.
So you might be able to find some exceptionally strong things at an early level, you just have to know where.

Multiplayer would be an option, if you don't want it don't use it. Simple.
Character scaling like in Diablo or Borderlands, the more people the stronger the enemies,
If you can use WoW as a reference I can use Minecraft

I would really like it if you could change my opinion on this game and enlighten me as to why everyone doesn't want multiplayer, can you list like 5 game breaking aspects for me, the biggest ones maybe?

Exploits and access to areas, items, quests and other things which aren't meant to be available at the time. Most likely glitches and bugs popping up everywhere. That alone should be accounted for so much stuff.

Some people would play for the fun, others would try speed running or some stuff by stacking players and items while hopping over castle walls.

There are some exceptions, like Umbra in the dungeon Vindasel. Very difficult opponent with disintegrate armor/weapon spells, rock-hard armor and the most powerful sword in the game.

Yes there is, stop being a moron, dude stop being such a blind starfish.

The only one being a blind starfish is you. Think (thinking requires usage of your brain by the way) about it, who is on the wrong? Me because I have 1 person against me, or you because you have everyone who recently posted?

Hmmm. Only a blind starfish could miss this.

You really are handicapped. WoW has more in common with Skyrim than Minecraft. Minecraft isn't even remotely close besides it having swords and bows LOL.

It's not going to happen and it cannot even happen yet so please shut up. It's not hard to understand. Not only do we not want multiplayer, but it actually would cause some major conflicts, and therefore isn't happening.

What makes you think a game tailored to SINGLE PLAYER only would house good multiplayer?

If they wanted multiplayer they would have put it in like Morrowind or Oblivion or even Fallout 3. But they didn't.

Actually Hiiro has a point there, I think.

Him comparing minecraft's "massive world" to Skyrims. He doesn't understand a single thing about how both games render entities and graphics differently. Besides that, skyrim has to render more highly detailed things that minecraft's simple blocks that are generated in special "chunks"

Not the fact that WoW has more in common with TESV than Minecraft, the fact that I referred to WoW and told him not to refer to Minecraft. A bit hypocritical on my part.

Oh look, a poll. Let's see what the community thinks.
The "Yes" option is a bit biased, I'd fix that.

Just because I'm against more people than you and you have more supporters does not mean you're right.
Minecraft is pretty damned similar too, in fact TES is one of Notch's favorite games, Adventure mode should be a very basic version of TES.
It will happen, one day an Elder Scrolls game will be multiplayer, It can happen, if they had made the engine able to do it that is. They probably didn't.

I think it would "house good multiplayer" (Nice Grammar pal) because it is a great game and why the forget not? Have you ever played Fable 2/3? Just do it like that, or like EYE.
And they've said somewhere they WANTED multiplayer but aren't going to put it in because so many fans have cried like you are right now about multiplayer being too loving game breaking.

On to Proog.

So what? If they want to speed run and stack players let them, why not? Don't do it if you don't want to  and keep your servers passworded.

I don't get why I'm getting so much hate on this, mostly from Meeses. Bugs are in every game, look at the Fallout 3 bug list, I don't
think it's fair to say that having multiplayer would add bugs to the beloved single player thus breaking it completely.

EDIT: Frozeneye come onnn, everything on there is biased as hell.
