THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

Maybe that can be a trade-off to the fire damage.

True. Decreased durability and fire damage for (however long). Then it cools.

I hope there's very little gore. Fallout 3/NV's just looks stupid.
I agree/disagree.

Have you ever used the Deadliest Reflex mod.

No, but I generally dislike gore, particularly when done badly.

Anyways, I always thought that the Fallout gore system was cool. Nothing is more satisfying than blowing a dudes head off :)

Hits shield. Her head flies off. Yeah, no, that's dumb.

I didn't like the fallout gore. It was too cartoony.

I do want blood and stuff, just nothing ridiculous.

shoot foot with arrow, whole body explodes in a mist of blood, gore, and flesh

It was the best video I could find.

I still dont know why you hate gore so much, i think you should atleast be able to chop peoples hands off and stuffing.

I'd be OK if it was done well, but FO3's was awful, and that video's was as well. I don't think they'd do it well, so I don't think they should do it at all.

Skyrim in a nutshell:

Yeah, I would rather not have excess gore in Skyrim. Although it would be cool if you slashed someone with a sword, it leaves a gash across the persons chest or something. IMO, that would be a lot better then something along the lines of FO3/NV. It only really worked in FO because of the cartoony/ultra-violent setting, where as Skyrim seems more serious, and dark then Fallout. Just sharing my 10 cents ;)

Cyrodiil's beaches and piers ran red with the blood of thousands of monsters and bad people, and it was amazing.
Fallout 3, my suite in Tenpenny Tower had the exploded remains of Mister Burke and a security guard piled up in the corner.
I'd like to see gore in Skyrim, though not like in Fallout, where a punch to the head makes the legs go flying off.

Hmm.

What if they moved over FO3/NV cripple system, so if you hit someone in the arm a few times they can no longer use their weapon.

none of that will be included, the game is almost finished already. talk to mod makers about it on the tesnexus forums when it's time and get there while its hot because all the mod makers will be ready to jump right in in hopes to make a name for themselves and get a claim on being first, especially now that the game isn't just a reskin.
